Polish for foreigners - methods

Books: starting from the first lesson we speak only Polish in the classroom.
Grammar: although the emphasis is on communication, grammar is not ignored. We teach how to use it correctly by introducing the grammatical problems in a natural context. The students don't just learn Polish, they assimilate it through acting out simple situations presented by the teacher. Then the students build their own phrases using the same sentence pattern in a different context.
Learning: We only use active learning. The method uses building blocks: the participants build more and more sophisticated structures by combining very simple elements.
Language Skills: we develop communication skills from the very basic level of comprehension and speaking. However, reading and writing are not omitted. At intermediate and advanced levels, the four language skills are developed in a more balanced manner.
