Learn Polish in 4 weeks taking in 4 regions of Poland

A journey through Poland from the sea to the mountains, from North to South along the eastern border between Poland-Lithuania, Poland-Belarus, and Poland-Ukraine

An unforgettable experience, an intensive course in natural surroundings:

Unique natural environments (Biebrza National Park - a refuge for water fowl and waders, Vistulan Landscape Park, Bieszczady - a mountainous wilderness)
Rural way of life (traditions, customs, music, handicrafts)
Historical cities (Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow) and towns (Malbork - former capital of the Teutonic Knights, Frombork - the town where Copernicus lived, worked and died), Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula River - pearl of the Renaissance, town of writers, poets, painters, architects, sculptors and musicians)
Borderlands of different cultures: Polish, Lithuanian, Belarusian, Tatar, Jewish, Ukrainian
Use of public transport: travelling from place to place (4 locations, every week in a different location) will take place mainly by train, so as to experience and get into contact with the Polish language as spoken by native speakers

4 weeks of language immersion

Polish from morning to night, morning classes (4 x 45 minutes) will be complemented by practice in the afternoons in the open air during various tourist and recreational activities. Activities outside the classroom will be held in the woods, on lakesides and river banks, at campfires, cycling and in the train. Language practice with a teacher and independent practice with the local population (interviews, collecting information, and participation in local events) will help to break down the language barrier - even of the most resistant participants.

4 weeks of extraordinary experiences and unforgettable encounters:

Learning traditional rural crafts (with village artisans), discovering history (in the footsteps of the Teutonic Knights), experiencing multicultural borderlands (for instance, the extraordinary Tatar trail), going cycling, travelling by water (boat trips, rafts and kayaking), hiking in the mountains, etc., etc.

4 weeks of discovering a Poland that you would never see through the windows of a touring bus, that the tourist guides do not describe, that you would not experience just by staying in a hotel

One week in each region will allow you to discover it properly without time to get bored. Lodgings are based on agro tourism, allowing participants to get to know local families, their daily lives, customs, cooking...

4 weeks in the company of two teachers, who will stay with the group during meals, sightseeing, excursions and workshops

You will learn the language even without meaning to.
